Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards
April 1st 2020 saw the latest stage of the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) introduced. Every domestic privately rented property now has to be a minimum of a band “E” on the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) else it should have an exemption lodged on the PRS Exemption register.
