The Green Homes Grant is a new grant scheme that offers up to £5,000 towards energy efficiency measures for your home. Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced the scheme today with £2bn of new money to help stimulate the economy.
The Green Homes Grant has been created to allow hundreds of thousands of homeowners to receive vouchers of up to £5,000 to cover at least to two thirds of the cost of energy-saving home improvements. He confirmed the scheme would cover double glazing, insulation, and other approved measures.
Poorer households could qualify for more generous grants worth up to £10,000 per household that would cover the full cost of any work, we are looking forward to receiving the full details.
It was derived from the Green Deal Cashback scheme that was created by government to support the Green Deal. Carl set up one of the first Green Deal Providers and was approached by BEIS to deliver the first Green Deal Cashback vouchers for them as no one else had established the quality procedures to deliver a compliant process.
Over Green Deal Cashback and four versions of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund we helped homeowners and installers apply for and process several hundred vouchers. By following our quality procedures you are able to demonstrate compliance with the scheme regulations.
Homeowners – We are able to register your voucher application.
Installer – We provide sample compliant paperwork for you to demonstrate full compliance with the scheme regulations and administer the voucher application and redemption for you.
Please register your interest with us for the Green Homes Grant and we will provide further information as soon as the regulations are released and we have created procedures to deliver the vouchers.
